Media Advisory: Photo Opportunities/Media Accreditation Procedures for Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame 2010 Induction

CALGARY, ALBERTA–(Marketwire – Oct. 27, 2010) – Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame will open its doors to six athletes and two builders at its upcoming induction dinner.

Entering the Sports Hall as athletes this year are hockey legend Patrick Roy, freestyle skier sensation Jean-Luc Brassard, wheelchair racer Chantal Petitclerc, speed skating / cycling Olympian Clara Hughes, race car driver Jacques Villeneuve and Olympic gymnast Kyle Shewfelt.  Sports administrators Dr. Roger Jackson, and Bob Ackles will be inducted as builders.  They will be honoured at the Induction Gala on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Calgary.
