Adventure Past the Usual to Learn Wine Tasting and Art Techniques

DESTIN, FL–(Marketwire – October 26, 2010) – Adventure past the usual and engage in exciting learning opportunities with wine and art classes conveniently offered near popular Destin, Florida beach hotels for an added twist to Florida fun. Two of Grand Boulevard’s finest establishments are offering classes that are sure to intrigue the senses of anyone interested in learning more about wine tasting, the techniques of watercolor or the adventures of acrylic.

Classes are held once a month and feature “Wines for the Holidays” on Wednesday, Nov. 10 and “Champagne and Sparkling Wines” on Wednesday, Dec. 8. Artisans may explore their creativity through two classes provided weekly by Donna Burgess at her studio, also located in Grand Boulevard, just steps away from the Donna Burgess Gallery. Watercolor Wednesdays provide beginner-advanced training in watercolor techniques while Thirsty Thursdays focus on new techniques and mediums for acrylic. To satisfy the class title, the flow of creativity is enhanced by the availability of wine! Classes are offered from 1 to 4 p.m. weekly at a cost of $75 for those who bring their own supplies or $95 if supplies are provided by the studio.
