ATLANTA, GA–(Marketwire – September 16, 2010) –  Six Senses Hospitality Management Group, LLC (6SHMG), an Atlanta based foodservice consulting and development company, is bringing Gandolfo’s New York Delicatessen and Petro’s Chili & Chips to Metro-Atlanta. 6SHMG partners, Michael Gainsley, Seth Salzman and Ron Wolf announced the development deal with Gandolfo’s and Petro’s CEO, Dan Pool.

Gandolfo’s offers a classic deli style menu with items ranging from the freshest sandwiches to soups, salads and desserts. Specialty sandwiches include the Rocky Balboa, Big Apple, Rockafella Ruben, and more, and they are complemented with the freshest homemade deli salads and soups. www.gandolfosdeli.com.

“I haven’t been this excited about the potential of a restaurant concept since my days at Moe’s,” notes Salzman. “The difference is we are not another sandwich company like Moe’s was not just another burrito brand. We have an opportunity to bring back the flavor, culture and history of the New York deli through Gandolfo’s. Having considered a number of other concepts to join in the last year, as Dan says, ‘One bite and I was there.'”

“Petro’s is one of the most unique concepts to come along in years. Petro’s combines chili (meat or vegetarian), Fritos, cheeses, tomatoes, green onions and sour cream, in an easy-to-eat cup. Petro’s also offers Pasta Petros, the Petro Wrap, premium all beef hot dogs, baked potatoes, and Hint of Orange ice tea,” said Salzman. www.petros.com

6SHMG’s newest Partner, Seth Salzman, will lead the effort. Salzman was a founding partner of Moe’s Southwest Grill and Raving Brands where he held leadership roles at Moe’s, Boneheads, The Flying Biscuit Café and Monkey Joe’s Parties & Play. After leaving Raving Brands Salzman spent time with Stevi B’s Pizza, before joining the Gandolfo’s and Petro’s parent company, as Senior Vice President of Operations.

“When I was given the opportunity to develop these two terrific brands in Georgia, it was an offer I couldn’t refuse,” said Salzman. “We plan to open multiple locations of Gandolfo’s and Petro’s in the Metro-Atlanta area as well as sub-franchised locations throughout the state.”
