Iconic New York Hotel Welcomes Families to Celebrate the Holidays and Ring in the New Year, Eloise Style

Holiday season 2010 kicks off with the appearance of The Plaza’s Santa Claus — the only Mr. Claus in uptown Manhattan. Starting on Friday, November 26, Santa will be available for holiday pictures in front of an exclusive background scene from “A Very New York Christmas,” by best-selling author Michael Storrings, who also be at The Plaza on Sunday, December 19, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a book and ornament signing event.
On Friday, December 31, our New York hotel is featuring an exclusive Eloise-themed ‘Black, White and Pink’ New Year’s Eve celebration. Highlights include:
- A three-course, prix-fixe dinner at The Palm Court featuring Willie Wonka-themed treats. Prices are $120/person for adults and $85 for children ages 12 and younger.
- Eloise at The Plaza, where games, arts & crafts and Eloise-themed activities will be available for guests of all ages.
- The Plaza Movie Screening of “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York” in the Terrace Room.
This luxury New York hotel is also offering a ‘New Year’s Eve at The Plaza Package,’ which includes accommodations and a hotel credit of $200 for guest rooms or $400 for suites to use at any outlet in The Plaza. Rates start at $995 USD per night, based on double occupancy with a two-night minimum. This package is available from December 26, 2010 to January 2, 2011.
