SKANEATELES, NY–(Marketwire – August 9, 2010) – Enriching the greater spa community with information, insights and data from presenters at its recent 6th Annual Symposium, New York Spa Alliance (NYSPA) has posted select presentations which are now accessible on its website at www.ny-spa.net.
Free access to the materials meets NYSPA’s objective to serve as a source of education, information and assistance to the state’s spa businesses and communities. NYSPA’s Annual Symposium, whose schedule and slate of presenters is skillfully assembled each year by NYSPA Board Member Mary Tabacchi, professor, Cornell University, is an elite gathering of spa industry owners, operators, suppliers and other experts from New York State and around the world. They gather to hear projections and predictions by industry experts and to participate in strategic discussions on all aspects of spa ownership, operations and marketing. Now in its sixth year, NYSPA’s Annual Symposium addresses the most current issues of the day.
This year’s theme was: “The Debate: Wellness vs. Indulgence & The Bottom Line. It addressed a broad range of topical issues of interest to anyone involved in the state’s spa industry (see www.ny-spa.net for the full schedule and presenter line-up).
Among the presentations offered or excerpted on NYSPA’s website are the following:
