Eversave Is Rewarding Austin-Area Residents With $5 Towards Their 1st Purchase When They Sign Up for Great Deals From Local Merchants, Including Restaurants, Salons, Spas, Activities and More

WAKEFIELD, MA–(Marketwire – August 2, 2010) –  Prospectiv, owner of the second-biggest couponing website in America, Eversave.com, today announced the launch of Eversave Austin. This website will offer local daily deals called “Saves” to Austin-area residents. The Saves will feature fun things to do in and around the city including sporting events, restaurants, spas, salons, entertainment and more. All of these Saves will be offered at a discount between 50-90 percent. Upon sign-up, Austin-area residents will receive a $5 reward that can be used toward their first Save purchase. For every new buyer referred, receive an extra $10. Eversave is committed to giving back to the community, a unique feature as compared to other similar services. A portion of the proceeds from select Saves will be donated to local schools, charities and other non-profit organizations. So while consumers are getting great deals from local businesses, they are also giving back to their community.

The Austin Aztex were one of Eversave’s first featured offerings in Austin during Eversave’s soft-launch at the end of July and 10% of the proceeds were donated to the Breast Cancer Resource Center of Texas. “We were thrilled to be the first Save to be featured in Eversave Austin’s launch,” said John Nelms, Director of Development of the Austin Aztex. “What a great way to invite the community to come together and enjoy a soccer game.”

Eversave encourages members to ‘Share the Save,’ with friends and family via email, Facebook, Twitter and other social media outlets. According to a recent poll conducted on Eversave.com, 71 percent of people who purchased deals from consumer based websites shared the deal with others. The poll also found that 88 percent of people are more likely to share a deal virally if there is a charitable component.
