Program Now Offers Updated Website, Flexible Rewards, Special Promotion With American Express®-Branded Reward Cards
ST. LOUIS, MO–(Marketwire – July 19, 2010) – The Alamo Rent A Car and National Car Rental brands have re-launched their joint Cash-In Club loyalty rewards program with an updated website as well as flexible rewards and a special promotion.
Since 1995, Alamo and National have partnered with U.S. travel agents who book car rentals as Cash-In Club members. “We are launching new tools and even better incentives to recognize their years of steadfast loyalty and support,” said Ron Cerko, vice president of travel industry relations for Alamo and National. “Plus, in honor of our 15-year anniversary, we are offering 15,000 points to the winner of our new promotion.”
The Cash-In Club promotion is being offered to all U.S.-resident travel agents who book a qualified reservation through October 2010. Program members will be automatically entered to win every time they reserve a car with Alamo or National, with the grand prize winner to be awarded 15,000 points. The award for second place is 10,000 points and third place wins 5,000 points.
All winners will be announced in November 2010. For membership and enrollment information, travel agents can visit www.cashinclub.travel, or they can go to www.rewards.cashinclub.travel for more details about the promotion.
Kristy Osborn, owner and manager of Travel Leaders in Loveland, Colo., has been a Cash-In Club member for approximately 12 years. “Having been a travel agent for 23 years, I’ve come across many agent incentive programs, and I have to say that the Cash-In Club is one of the best. As we make the car reservation, the credit for that car booking really does go right into our account. The points accrue quickly, and it’s a program that really makes it worth my while!”
Cash-In Club originally was created to offer U.S. travel agents the opportunity to receive competitive rates and quality rental vehicles for their clients and to reward them for their long-term business. Today, the enhanced program enables agents to also incorporate award points into American Express®-branded reward cards.
“We want our valued members to reward themselves by redeeming their points in a way that is more personal and meaningful to them,” Cerko stressed. “We also hope to attract new members to our loyalty rewards program family on behalf of both Alamo and National.”
Enterprise Holdings, through its regional subsidiaries, owns and operates the Alamo and National brands. In addition, as North America’s largest and most comprehensive service provider in the car rental industry, Enterprise Holdings manages more than 1 million cars and trucks, the largest fleet of passenger vehicles in the world today.
Alamo is a recognized technology innovator, with the industry’s first and only online check-in system since 2005, as well as more than 159 self-service kiosks at 65 U.S. locations, which earned it the “Extra Mile Award” from Budget Travel magazine in 2007. Alamo — the largest car rental provider to international travelers visiting North America — also serves as the official rental car of Walt Disney World® Resort and Disneyland® Resort. Customers who book online receive Alamo’s best rates, and if they choose the “Prepay & Save” option when making their online reservation, they may receive an additional 10 percent discount.
With National, time-sensitive customers in the U.S. are able to quickly choose their own vehicles, based upon their advance reservation and requested car class, and then simply drive away from the airport. National — which launched the car rental industry’s first comprehensive frequent-renter program — further expedites the rental process for its Emerald Club members by offering counter bypass as well as convenient e-receipts. The Emerald Club program also provides access to National’s “Emerald Aisle,” an exclusive section of the lot where members can select any vehicle as long as they reserve a midsized car. The SmarterTravel Editors Choice Award went to Emerald Club in 2010 as the “Best Rental Car Loyalty Program.”
